’Ole’s Gård’ produces organic food and ingredients and builds on the belief that animal welfare and unforgettable taste experiences go hand in hand. And it was that love of clean ingredients and good craftmanship we wanted to reflect in their identity. So, we asked Ole to cut out the alphabet in freshly lifted potatoes from his farm. The ‘letters’ were printed on canvas (recycled, of course) and scanned before we digitalized the ‘potato print’ and exported it as the OpenType font ‘Ole’s Potatoes’.
An identity with a simple story
The 12 dotted lines that surround ‘Ole’s Gård’ in the logo symbolise the 12 months of the year. Ole’s products are all seasonal as it simply makes sense in terms of both the environment and the taste. Also, the circle illustrates that everything at the farm is part of a circular system.
